Hunt's Foundation Founder: Cassondra Hunt

Our founder, Cassondra Hunt, wears many hats, and her love for her community is the heartbeat behind everything we do at The Hunt’s Foundation. Cassondra is not only the visionary behind the foundation but also the Founder and CEO of Hunt’s Haven, LLC, a home health care company that serves as the parent organization to The Hunt’s Foundation.

Raised by her grandparents, Cassondra developed a deep passion for serving the elderly and vulnerable at a young age. That compassion grew into a lifelong mission of service — one that inspired her to expand her reach beyond home care and establish The Hunt’s Foundation, dedicated to uplifting veterans, families, and underserved communities.

Cassondra’s commitment to community service is truly unmatched. She serves as a mentor to young entrepreneurs, encouraging them to dream bigger and lead with purpose. Despite her busy schedule, she continues to dedicate her time to causes that strengthen and empower her community.

Her leadership and service have not gone unnoticed — Cassondra was recently appointed to the Board of Adjudicators by the Mayor of Jennings and has been honored with multiple recognitions, including the 100 Deluxe Award, the Community Service Award from Humanity in the Middle, and the Unsung Hero Award presented by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. 

Through it all, Cassondra remains humble and grounded. She often says her greatest and most cherished titles are wife and mother — the roles that inspire her daily to keep building, giving, and believing in the power of community.
